Salò has the longest 'lungolago' of all the Lake Garda towns, and you can walk all the way round the bay, from the cathedral 'Al Duomo', past the ferry port and trough the historic centre, through the marina and all the way round to the beach. In fact since last year 2016, you can continue your walk all the way to Portese. The 'lungolago' is populated with restaurants and bars and the Salò beach is one of the best on the lake.
