Description

Lune Estate holds a wonderful location nestled within beautiful Cumbria countryside. Overlooking Howgill Fells, the Hall makes a fantastic base for those wanting to enjoy the great outdoors with scenic strolls and bike rides from the front door while enjoying the picturesque scenery. Guests are conveniently situated to enjoy days out in the Lakes or the Dales, both easily reachable in less than an hour's drive.

The Estate comprises of two neighbouring properties Lune Hall and Lune House and can accommodate up to twenty-three guests in total, fifteen in the hall and eight in the house. The Victorian Lune Hall has been lovingly modernised by its current owners and today seamlessly combines its original charm with updated interiors and contemporary furnishings. On the ground floor is the sociable living space which comprises of two large sitting and drawing rooms, a dining room with seating for sixteen and a fully-equipped kitchen, this is the real hub of the home and the perfect spot for the whole group to gather and reflect on the highlights of the day. On the ground floor is the first of the bedrooms, a double with en-suite shower room, ideal for those who perhaps struggle with stairs. Upstairs, on the second floor are the remaining seven beautifully-appointed bedrooms, six doubles and one single, they each boast en-suite facilities.
Lune House boasts just as beautiful interiors as the Hall having been recently updated to an incredibly high standard by Georgina Rose, a former Soho House architect. On the ground floor is the spacious living accommodation which comprises of a cosy sitting room with log-burning stove, a fully-equipped kitchen and connecting dining room with seating for eight. Upstairs are the four beautifully appointed double bedrooms, two of which boast en-suite facilities while the remaining two share the use of a family bathroom and a family shower room. Four of the bedrooms, two in each property, can be set up with twin single beds on request making them ideal for siblings or friends sharing.

Outside, guests of Lune Estate will enjoy spending sunny Summer evenings enjoying yummy barbecues and dining al fresco on the terrace. The children are bound to enjoy playing games on the large lawns which offer impressive views over the Fells.
