You can also make some daily escapes to some of Greece’s most beautiful sites, such as Delphi and of course Athens and all its archeological treasures. A longer trip (3 hours) will lead you to the village of Kalambaka at the foot of the stunning rock towers of Meteora on top of which six monasteries are definitely worth a visit (classified as UNESCO World Heritage)
