The polyfoil arches supported by slender columns, the wooden Artesonado ceiling, mullioned windows and the typical tiled wall design, bear testimony to the Moorish history of Andalusia. From here you will reach the wonderful, rustic living room with wooden beams and furniture, exposed brickwork and a fireplace which offers a cosy ambience both in summer and in winter. The firewood for the fireplace is available on request and with surcharge. The living room leads to the large terrace, enclosed by a pretty balustrade, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the fabulous garden with citrus trees and palms. Setenil de las Bodegas is one of the typical white villages of Andalusia. It is located on the "Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos" (Route of the White Villages), which connects Setenil with the other, beautiful villages, such as Olvera, Ronda, El Gastor, Grazalema, Zahara de la Sierra and Antequera. You can see the castle of Setenil, which was built by the Nazari in the 13th century and the church "Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación" built in Gothic and Mudéjar style standing majestically on a rock above the village.
