Description

You expected to spend a holiday in a beautiful Mallorcan villa, and then had to rub your eyes when you arrived. To describe this huge estate, 74,000 m² as simply a garden would most likely be one of the top ten understatements of all time. With a property this large, you don't need to worry about any curious stares. Not to put too fine a point on it: when you rent this villa, you will be justified feeling like a big landowner. The only difference is that you are not responsible for upkeep of the place, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the benefits of this pool and terrace landscape. As it should, the pool shimmers in an enigmatic and refreshing turquoise under the sun. But the chances are good that the panoramic view of the Tramuntana mountains will make this one of the most beautiful swimming experiences of your life. Ultimately, you are the lord of the manor here, so you get to decide when the first cocktail of the day will be served. And when it is time to answer the call of hunger and start up the barbecue. Of course, you can also take a seat on one of the sun loungers or, if you want a little more altitude, sip afternoon tea on the balcony on the upper storey while writing postcards to everyone back home about what a great holiday you are having.

Several glass doors swing open to lead from the terrace landscape to the interior of the property. First, you enter the heart of the house, the expansive living and dining area. Whether you are looking for a little time to snuggle on the couch, or enough people to set up a board game on the table, much of your holiday will surely be spent in this space. From here, you can reach the fully equipped kitchen (and the utility room behind it, with washing machine and dryer), as well as a foyer that is the actual entryway. An antique grandfather clock tells the time here, but you really don’t need to care. Relaxation is what it's all about, after all. And that requires spacious, cosy bedrooms. There are a total of five double bedrooms and four bathrooms. The bedrooms, like all the other areas of the house, are absolutely stylish and tasteful. Decorative details, including traditional elements, go hand in hand with a clear, bright, inviting style. This combines echoes of the original agricultural villa character of the island with modern comfort in a harmonious way.

The northern part of the island of Mallorca is surely one of its most beautiful sides. The wide-ranging Tramuntana mountains here were declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2011. In fact, this is a unique cultural landscape, not just for the Mediterranean, with some endemic flora and fauna. The local mountain villages picturesquely dot the slopes, which fall off into an amazing coastal landscape to the north and east. There are many little swimming coves and various small beaches in the bay of Pollença that are all worth a dip in the cool water. Port Pollença itself is 30 km away and has a beautiful beach and marina promenade with plenty of bars and restaurants. The beach here has fine sand and slopes gently into the water, so it is especially good for swimming with kids. While Port Pollença lies to the east of the villa "Moscari", the small coves, including Cala Tuent (36 km) and Sa Calobra (33 km), are in the north. The road on which the villa is located is seldom used. With a hire car, you have many options to experience unforgettable days in this villa with particularly good value for money.
