Just 15 minutes from Camaiore (9 km), in the small village of Casoli called the “graffiti-village” for the numerous frescoes on the walls of the houses, works by artists from all over Italy, is this nice terraced house on several levels (steep staircase without handrail), with small private terrace where you can enjoy lunch. The accommodation is reached on foot along a small road that winds its way along the town, and then climbing about a dozen steps, the parking is along the road and at about 300 m distance. At about 200 m from the house you can find food shops and a bar. This is the ideal location for those who wish to spend a holiday away from city traffic and for tracking enthusiasts: from here it is possible to reach both Prana and Matanna mountain through paths. For climbing lovers there are numerous walls to climb. Candalla is located just 2.5 km from here, a suggestive place for its waterfalls that flow into natural pools of cold and clear water, the sound of the water resounding everywhere, all this surrounded by dense vegetation. Lucca (41 km) is known for its numerous medieval churches and for the intact city walls. Pietrasanta (17 km) is a city of art with exhibitions of well-known artists throughout the year. Viareggio (20 km) is rich in bathing establishments and shipyards, it also offers a splendid sea promenade with clothing stores, restaurants, here you can take ferries to reach the charming villages of the Cinque Terre.
