With its hilly position among the Hyblaean highlands, this holiday home obtained by the renovation of an ancient farmhouse enjoys magnificent views on the surrounding landscape and woods. It is set inside the nature reserve Calaforno with mediterranean pine woods. The house has been restored maintaining some of the original features such as stone walls and wooden ceilings. Guests have access to a pool of crystal clear water with a system of coloured LED lights for fantastic evening atmospheres! The spaces around the pool are very large (the house is about 20 m from the pool). From the main room used as a living/dining room with kitchen corner you can access, going down 3 steps, to the sleeping area with two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has two double beds, a bathroom with a shower and a laundry corner. Outside there are two barbecue areas and a part sheltered part equipped with wooden chairs and tables for pleasant outdoor dining enjoying the peaceful and beautiful setting. Giarratana (4 km) is a lovely village in the Hyblaean area, rich in history and traditions straddling the provinces of Ragusa, Catania and Syracuse. Although immersed in nature between the protected woodland and the artificial lake of the Santa Rosalia dam, the position allows you to easily reach the most interesting areas of this part of Sicily.
