Description

Comfortable country cottage (duplex; one part empty) on the hillside of the Monte Amiata, in private panoramic location and surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The house is a very tastefully decorated and first-class holiday home. It includes a large covered terrace with a wide view of the hills in front of the living room; beyond, in the well-kept garden there is the pool. The small villages around Monte Amiata are worth a trip, as you can stroll along the small and picturesque paths and squares of Seggiano, Piancastagnaio and Arcidosso. Everywhere you can enjoy local specialities; wild boar stew and mushrooms directly from the surrounding forests. The area is ideal for hiking in the forests (which are cool in the summer months), for trips to the coast (approx. one-hour-drive) and for visiting the warm spas of the area; Bagno Vignoni, San Filippo or Saturnia. An insider tip is the wine cellar of Mondecucco! A children's bed is available on request. The access road is unpaved.
