Description

Villa Agrioli sits in a gorgeous spot in the Tuscan countryside and enjoys a tremendous view from all angles. Located in peaceful Radicofani the surrounding land is quiet and open, and the interior of the villa mirrors the relaxed environment.
There is tile flooring throughout the villa which is lovely and cool underfoot and a large communal space provides a place to come together with family and friends and enjoy a game of pool. The residence sleeps 10 guests across 5 double bedrooms. The living room is cosy with comfortable sofas huddled around the fireplace – perfect for a night in. The kitchen is full-equipped with everything you need to knock together a fantastic meal.
Outside is a large swimming pool and gazebo with magnificent panoramic views and the patio has a barbecue for casual poolside soirees. Guests can end the day with a soak in the Jacuzzi and a glass of bubbles – what a way to unwind!

Radicofani (1.5 km) - Situated near tranquil Radicofani the picturesque surroundings makes for a truly relaxing holiday - but there's plenty of activities in the immediate area to keep the entire family entertained. 3.5 km down the road is the ancient castle of Radicofani, dating back to the dark ages -before year 1000! A tower in the town offers magnificent views over Val d'Orcia, Amiata, the Apennines and the Trasimeno and Bolsena lakes and San Pietro and Sant'Agata Church house an amazing collection of Della Robbia terracotta pieces.
Hikers, horse riders, cyclists and nature lovers will find trails and country roads that wind through hillsides and vineyards revealing breathtaking vistas. There are also plenty of fabulous dining options, craft workshops and traditional delicatessens close to the property.

Bagno Vignoni (25 km) is the most beautiful of the local spa towns where in place of a central piazza, there's a vast arcaded medieval thermal pool.

Montalcino (44 km) is a gorgeous hilltop town dating back to the 10th century famous for its tanneries and incredible Brunello wine. The Brunello di Montalcino is made using 100% Sangiovese and in 1980 was awarded the first Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG) designation. These days it is one of Italy's best-known and most expensive wines and is only produced in Montalcino. The town features spectacular mansions built by nobles who fleed Siena in the 16th century.

Siena (77 km) - For those seeking fantastic food and spectacular art Siena makes a great day trip with a plethora of fabulous restaurants and Gothic architecture. Rivalling Florence for Renaissance palazzi and art, Siena's churches, galleries and museums could keep you busy for weeks.
