Carolina is a bright and airy, stylish villa, situated in the sunniest resort in Madeira known as Ponta do Sol. The villa has a real feeling of a home-from-home, with a lovely open-plan living and dining room, connected to a fully-equipped kitchen with plenty of modern conveniences. There is a separate TV ‘snug’ room, ideal for watching a movie when needing some time out of the sun. Upstairs are three bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms and two which benefit from balconies overlooking the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Ponta do Sol offers a variety of restaurants as well as a couple of trendy bars and the whole town front is opposite a rocky beach with access to the sea. 10 minutes by car to the east is the town of Ribeira Brava, the largest town before Funchal, and that offers another rocky beach in addition to a large supermarket and more shops, cafés, and restaurants. 10 minutes by car to the west is the resort of Calheta with its man-made golden sandy beaches, a marina and a further choice of supermarket, restaurants and bars. The capital, Funchal, is an easy 30-minute drive away on the motorway. Carolina makes for a great choice for those seeking a sun-filled, relaxing and comfortable stay in Madeira.
