Casa di Vico is a charming Tuscan home located in the heart of the Medieval village of Vicopisano.

The property is the perfect location for those looking to experience a typically Tuscan ambiance as well as being an ideal base for exploring Tuscany,

This typical Tuscan town house has been recently and lovingly restored to the highest of standards and offers modern and comfortable living with stylish interiors and modern conveniences.

The property is situated over 3 floors. On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen ideal for cooking at home and a dining room perfect for family gatherings.

The first floor has an airy sitting room with comfortable seating and a large flat screen television, in addition to a double bedroom and bathroom. On the 2nd floor you will find two bedrooms with en/suite bathrooms and one with a small romantic terrace.

There is a charming restaurant just around the corner less than 30 metres away as well 2 pizzeria's, a traditional restaurant and 3 traditional bars serving breakfast pastries, snacks, cold drinks, tea, coffee, wine, beers and other alcoholic beverages all within walking distance.

The sleepy town of Vicopisano is full of character especially in its Medieval center where Casa di Vico is situated. The house is just a stone’s throw away from Brunelleschi's Medieval Fortress and the 12th Century Praetorian Palace both of which are open to the public at the weekends.

Vicopisano is the ideal base for exploring Tuscany being close to Pisa, Lucca and Florence and many other must see sites within the region.

The immediate area is also perfect for discovering a more authentic traditional Tuscany. Visitors to the area may visit an organic olive farm and see how extra virgin oil is made, there is also a ceramics workshop where an artisan potter still sits at the wheel. In addition there is the opportunity to take part in cooking lessons and discover the nearby vineyards for wine-tasting.

For those who love outdoor activities Vicopisano has the perfect terrain for walking, trekking, cycling and mountain biking. There are nearby stables for those who would like to ride. Within 30 minutes you can visit the coast and beaches, thermal spa and golf courses.

The good sized bathroom is situated at the end of the hallway, few steps from the bedroom and the living room. The room has a wide shower, washbasin, WC & bidet. There is a cute little window with views to the marble plaque with the name of the Medieval lane.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is accessed from the dining room/hall. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking at home - there is a fridge freezer, stove, dishwasher, tv and a table that seats 5.

LIVING ROOM
The living room is on the first floor. This room is full of light and stylishly furnished. There is enough comfortable seating for 6 people, satellite TV, a big library and a little antique table where you can sit and write some postcards.

CLEANING/TOWELS
Final cleaning, all bed linens are towels are included in the rental price. Towels and bed linen are changed on request for stays up to 7 nights and incurs a small fee. A change of bed linen and towels is included for stays of 14 nights.

ACCESSIBILITY
The property is situated on the main Medieval street in the historic centre (no hills). There are approximately 15 stairs from the ground to first floor and 15 stairs up to the 2nd floor. One of the second floor one of the en-suite bathrooms is accessed by 8 steps..
