Description

This holiday home, a country house in hilly location at 4 km from Montecchio, is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Not far from the house there is a swimming pool and an annexe (air conditioning). The beautiful city of Orvieto with its imposing cathedral and beautiful old town is only 12 km from the property (bus stop in front of the house). From here you can easily reach the most important art cities of Umbria and the south of Tuscany: Todi (34 km) with its gothic Cathedral dating back to the 12th Century and the beautiful Palazzo dei Priori; Perugia (75 km) with its charming perched old town with narrow streets and imposing monuments; Assisi (80 km), the native town of St. Francis with its magnificent papal cathedral and Unesco World Heritage Site; Pienza (68 km) with its dome with Renaissance façade and famous for the production of excellent pecorino - cheese. In the vicinity you can also taste and buy the local "Falesco" wine.
