Description

Situated in the Carvoeiro region on Portugal's Algarve Coast sits Casa Amarela. In a quiet residential area overlooking lush greenery, Casa Amarela is transformed into a peaceful oasis within easy reach of the popular tourist towns, such as Armacao de Pera. This charming villa is configured over three floors, accommodating 12 guests across six bright, modern bedrooms.
The vibrant yellow exterior is warm and welcoming, and with so much living space and a large private terrace, there is plenty of space for a large family or group of friends. You enter Casa Amarela from street level onto the ground floor, where you will find the main living space. The kitchen is to one side and has a bright, modern design with white cabinets and stone-effect counters. The kitchen is well-equipped with all you could need to cook delicious homecooked meals for the whole family. There is also a small breakfast dining area for four guests here, perfect for grabbing a quick bite to eat before heading out for the day. Also on this floor, and spanning the length of the house, is the open-plan living and dining room. Benefitting from dual-aspect glazing and large sliding doors out to a terrace, this gorgeous room is flooded with natural light. To one end of the room, you will find the living area with a comfortable sofa and vibrant blue armchair centred around a large flat-screen television, perfect for snuggling up at the end of the day with a film, or for catching any sports fixtures. At the other end is the dining area, seating six guests comfortably but with two further chairs available, this sleek space enjoys access to a terrace from which you can savour the Portuguese sunshine.
The first of the six bedrooms is found on the ground floor and is home to a good-sized double bed with access to a modern family bathroom also on this floor. A further two double bedrooms are located on the first floor, including the master suite with en-suite bathroom. The final three bedrooms are on the lower pool level, with each boasting yet more double beds. Each of these bedrooms shares use of another stylish family bathroom on this level, and although one of these bedrooms has no external windows, you won't have to worry about being woken up early by the light!
A bonus kitchen and living area can also be found on the lower level. The kitchen here benefits from direct access to the pool and has another dining area seating four guests, so you can easily grab snacks and drinks as you relax by the pool. This kitchen is spacious and bright, with all the expected mod-cons and terracotta-coloured tiles bringing a touch of traditional style to the room. The living area on this floor is the perfect den for any kids in the group, as they can chill out and relax in their own space and easily pop outside to jump into the pool!
The outside space at Casa Amarela certainly does not disappoint. The terrace is more than large enough for everyone to have space to relax in the warm Portuguese climate. The private swimming pool is the central feature and is lined by yellow sun loungers matching the exterior of the villa. Closer to the villa, there is an outdoor lounge area covered by a parasol - this is a great space for an afternoon siesta out of the heat of the sun. Next to this and leading straight out from the kitchen, is the outdoor dining area, which can seat six guests comfortably, but extra chairs are also available. There is also a large brick-built barbecue here, so there are no excuses not to try a spot of alfresco cooking!

#### Location
This charming villa is located near the traditional town of Porches along the Algarve coast between Carvoeiro and Albufeira. Set on the edge of a quiet cul-de-sac away from the main tourist areas, Casa Amarela offers guests the chance for peaceful rest and recuperation with loved ones.
Porches is home to some of the best pottery produced along the Algarve and boasts one of the most picturesque chapels in the area. This stunning chapel has a traditional style with white rendered walls and splashes of colour in the details, it really is a lovely place to visit when you are in the town. The Porches Pottery Workshop provides visitors with the opportunity to learn more about the history of the town and how the artisan hand-painted pottery is made. There are also a selection of restaurants in the town, serving a range of cuisines from Italian to traditional Portuguese to more global flavours, so there is something for everyone no matter your preference.
The region of Carvoeiro is steeped in traditional Portuguese charm, and the town itself has been transformed from a small fishing village into a picturesque holiday attraction in the stunning Algarve. The infamous Praia de Benagil is located along this stretch of the coast and is known for its spectacular sea cave. This unique cave has a round hole in the roof that frames the clear blue skies and is without a doubt one of the true wonders of nature.
There are a number of activities for water-lovers in this area of the Algarve. Slide & Splash waterpark in Lagoa has 17 attractions and slides that offer a great day out. The Kamikaze is one of the most popular rides with its dizzying 20m decent sure to get the adrenaline pumping! Kayak tours depart from nearby Ferragudo and SUP tours from Benagil, and are a great way to peacefully explore the coast from the sea. The Algarve has long been popular with surfers, and many surf schools have popped up along the coast over the years, so why not book in for a lesson and give it a go!
