Inserted in a postcard landscape, this chalet at 24 km from Feltre is dedicated to lovers of silence and unspoiled nature. Admire the breathtaking panorama of the mountains that mark the border between the Belluno Dolomites and the Trentino Dolomites. Immersed in nature, but in a strategic position for excursions to Veneto with its beautiful cities of art (Venice 120 km, Vicenza and Treviso 85 km, Belluno 55 km) and Trentino with the Dolomites and the beautiful lakes. Starting from a characteristic mountain village, Lamon, the chalet is reached via a winding uphill road, with the last kilometer of dirt road. From the chalet you can go for hiking or mountain biking. Among the various trekking trails that start from the village, some also offer a visit to the various caves of this area. For the more adventurous sports enthusiasts, the favorable air currents make Monte Avena the ideal base for paragliding and hang gliding; in the valley you can practice canyoning and the nearby lakes (Corlo 20 km, Lake Levico and Caldonazzo 50 km) offer the opportunity to practice windsurfing, sailing, kitesurfing. And to complete the holiday there is a rich food and wine offer: during the summer there is a succession of fairs dedicated to local products. For beer lovers, in Pedavena (20 km), there is a historic brewery famous throughout Europe. This chalet is the ideal place for lovers of uncontaminated nature (in the garden you can meet deer, roe deer, hares or see three eagles flying – their nest is not far away). The owners puts at guests’ disposal a small vegetable garden with local products. Inside, on the first floor one of the two wood-paneled rooms, is a quadruple room with a bed on the gallery. The water comes from a checked water tank.
