Description

This delightful Alpine hut is located about 20 km from Feltre and can be reached from Lamon, a lively mountain village, along 7 km of a winding mountain road. The accommodation is inserted in the surrounding environment and the evenings spent in front of the large fireplace will make your stay unforgettable. Here you will also be in a strategic position to discover the Veneto region with its splendid cities of art (Venice 120 km, Vicenza and Treviso 85 km, Belluno 55 km) and Trentino with its castles and beautiful lakes. From here you can go hiking or practice mountain biking. There are endless possibilities for excursions to the Dolomites of the Trentino or Belluno area, while some paths also allow visits to the various caves in the area. From Monte Avena you can practice paragliding or hang gliding; go canyoning in the valley and enjoy canoeing or rafting on the Brenta river. The sea is also nearby: in 100 km you can reach Jesolo, Caorle, Bibione. You can also swim in Lake Corlo which, set in the mountain, is only 20 km from here. Other alpine lakes are also nearby (Lake Levico and Caldonazzo 50 km, Lake Calaita 40 km, and Lake Santa Croce 70 km), for water sports like windsurfing, sailing, kitesurfing. The food and wine offer is rich with local products such as the Lamon bean or the Prussian apple from Sovramonte. In Pedavena (20 km), there is a historic brewery, the largest in Italy, which is famous throughout Europe for its vast selection of draft beers, accompanied by local specialties. Do not miss a day on the Prosecco hills (UNESCO heritage) among vines and cellars, where you can stop to taste a glass of Prosecco or Cartizze.
