Spread across three floors, No. 30 Whitby is an impressive townhouse located in the centre of Whitby. This ten bedroom, ten bathroom property sleeps up to 20 guests making it the perfect place for family gatherings and getaways with friends. Boasting a spacious ground floor with a bright and welcoming living room, a cosy snug area, a stunning open plan kitchen-diner and a beautiful outdoor patio, there is plenty of space for group staycations.



The Space:

Recently refurbished, the open plan kitchen diner is modern and stylish. With sea green kitchen cabinets and white brick style wall tiles, it has been beautifully designed to create an attractive space to socialise with your loved ones. Fully equipped, you’ll be able to prepare meals easily throughout your self-catering stay.



Whether you’re tucking into a home cooked meal or feasting on a takeaway, you’ll be able to enjoy it in the dining area. With an extendable dining table right in front of the patio doors, it’s a lovely space to enjoy food with your loved ones. Open the doors and you’re welcomed into a sleek patio area. When the weather is nice, take a seat at the outdoor dining area and enjoy your meals al fresco style!



No. 30 Whitby also has a cosy and homely living room. With three leather sofas and a flat screen TV, this is the ideal place to unwind and relax after a fun-filled day in Whitby.



No.30 boasts ten en suite bedrooms. You’ll find two bedrooms on the first floor, four on the second floor and the final four on the third floor. Each room features a king size bed with plush bedding to ensure you have a comfortable night’s sleep.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.



Please note we welcome two well behaved, medium sized dogs per stay.

The Neighborhood:

The centre of Whitby, and Whitby Harbour are just a few short steps away from No. 30 Whitby, so it’s ideal if you want to experience what life is like living by the sea.



The area is famous for the quality of its fish and chip restaurants, and there are plenty of places where you can sink your teeth into a fresh catch. When you fancy a drink, you’ll find a variety of bars as well as pubs and shops in the local area.



Whitby is also famous for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. You’ll find plenty of sites near the house with historic interest relating to the story. The main inspiration can be found at the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey.



Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. In particular, Dalby Forest and Guisborough Forest, just a short drive away and they both have various beautiful walking and cycling routes to explore.



Getting Around:

No. 30 Whitby is just a short walk to the town centre, Whitby harbour and the bus and train station. Villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.



There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
