From here you can also enjoy interesting excursions in the nearby region Umbria: Lake Trasimeno with its beautiful beaches and the romantic islands, which you can reach by boat, is only 40 km from here. Umbria’s capital town Perugia awaits you with its imposing monuments and palaces of the old town and the fascinating underground Rocca Paolina at about 70 km distance. Perugia is also home to the Umbria-Jazz festival, which has made this city famous all over the world. Do not miss to visit the beautiful town of Assisi (90 km) with its impressive papal Basilica of San Francesco, rich in frescoes, and the characteristic alleys with typical shops and restaurants. If you wish to enjoy a relaxing day, at 20 km are the famous thermal baths of Rapolano. Golf course 15 km.
