Description

Villa Deo is an opulent beachfront villa that offers everything you could need for an unforgettable break beneath the Spanish sun, from high-end amenities to luxurious surroundings and a range of optional extras to make your stay even more special.

With nine bedrooms and bathrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to eighteen guests, we think this home – that nestles right on the aquamarine waters of the ever-popular Costa del Sol in Fuengirola – would serve as the perfect setting for a holiday away with a bunch of friends or for a memorable family reunion. Step into its superior, classical Andalusian spaces and feel immediately at ease, as though everything is to be taken care of for you. The first things you may notice are the expansive feeling of the high ceilings and the highly polished marble floors, not to mention the tasteful use of gold leaf and gilt; all contributing to the sense of classic grandeur and glamour that characterises the whole of this home.

There are two lavish living areas (though, when they are this grand, we might well call them 'drawing rooms' instead) within the main 'salon'. Each is complete with elegant and carefully chosen soft furnishings and centres around its own original marble fireplace that would look perfectly in place in even the grandest of stately homes. One overlooks the traditional Andalusian-style courtyard, while the other offers a captivating view over the impressive swimming pool and surrounding grounds that then give way to the glittering, softly lapping waves of the Mediterranean right on your doorstep.

Moving through the ground floor living spaces, you will come to an almost regal-feeling dining room – a space that is filled with warm natural light thanks to the large windows which envelop the marble-top table and frame more calming sea views. What better accompaniment to an elegant evening meal could there be than to watch as evening slips into night, draping the sea in gold and then black as the sun melts into the horizon?

We then come to the traditional-style kitchen, one which has been fitted and finished to the highest of standards and houses everything you could need to put on the most magnificent of spreads. There is a separate butler's pantry for storing produce, loads of handy storage, and a double oven. There is then a second dining area adjacent to the kitchen where we can just imagine sitting back and taking our time over a leisurely breakfast of aromatic coffee, buttery pastries, and freshly squeezed Valencian orange juice. Or, why not take your breakfast onto the terrace to enjoy it alfresco with the addition of a salty sea breeze?

The feeling of flamboyant, fairytale glamour continues throughout each of the nine bedrooms (eight of which are ensuite). Five of the bedrooms are found on the main entrance level, with four on the upper floor, and all are finished with their own opulent style, including the addition of gorgeous glass chandeliers on the ceilings. Many of the bedrooms boast workspaces/dressing tables, flatscreen TVs, spacious fitted wardrobes, and spellbinding sea views that greet you with effortless brilliance first thing in the morning as you open your curtains.

In the grounds surrounding this typically Andalusian beachfront villa, you will find an array of lovely seating areas and places to dine outdoors on carefully laid-out patios, as well as well-manicured gardens filled with lush greenery – not to mention that spectacular private swimming pool which overlooks the Mediterranean. So, there's as much with which to fall in love around this home as there is inside it.

#### Location
This luxury home enjoys an equally prestigious beachfront location close to the attractions and amenities of the lively coastal resort of Fuengirola: home to a myriad of cafes, bars, and restaurants that are popular with tourists and the Spanish alike. It is literally just a few steps to the soft golden sands that define this stretch of Spanish coastline and the gentle waves of the Mediterranean that lap upon them.

Villa Deo also happens to be positioned just at the foot of the hill upon which the Castle of Sohail is perched, with the castle literally above you. A historic castle, parts of which date back as far as the 12th century, it is recognisable by its toweringly impressive fortress walls and is, of course, filled with a rich and varied history that is well worth delving into during your stay here. We would highly recommend making the trip up (the castle sits above the rest of the town) and looking out over the old ramparts to take in the panoramic sea views that stretch out before you, making the stroll up oh-so-worthwhile.

Back down at sea level, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing somewhere to eat, drink, and generally sit back and people-watch. Take a walk along the beautiful promenade that is lined with cafes, restaurants, and chiringuitos (laid-back beach bars serving small plates, cerveza, and sangria), indulge in some retail therapy or head to one of the nearby waterparks. What's more, Fuengirola is located right in the middle of Malaga and Marbella, two incredible cities with plenty to see and do!
