Description

Independent holiday house located in Ortignano, in the province of Arezzo. On the ground floor, there are a large living room with fireplace, a small kitchen and a bathroom; on the 1st floor, which is reached through an open-wooden staircase, there are the two bedrooms. The wooden parquet on the first floor and the beamed ceilings make the style of this house rustic. Outside, there is a little courtyard with seating area, barbecue and a pizza oven; from the above terrace it is possible to both relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape. About 300 m there is a little swimming lake- an ideal place for adults to relax and for children to play in the open air. The house location is perfect to reach the Parco naturale del Casentino, where you can hike, do trekking or riding bicycle. It is also recommend to visit the mountain cloister in La Verna, the parish church of Romena and the hermitage in Camaldoli. Finally, in Poppi and Bibbiena you will have the possibility to taste local dishes. Do not miss the cities of Arezzo (40 km) and the rich-in-art Florence (60 km). An unpaved driveway (1,5 km) leads to the house.
