5 km far away from Vinci, Leonardo’s hometown, the warm hospitality of Il Melograno welcomes you to the idyllic setting of tuscan hills.
Our mansion is a portion of a farmhouse of the eighteenth century, nestled in a quiet and panoramic location on the sweet hills of Tuscany in the small Borgo of Vitolini, 5km far away from Vinci.
Il Melograno is a beautiful farmhouse in the heart of Tuscany; it is the ideal place for both visiting art cities such as Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa (all within one hour’s drive) and for relaxing far away from the city chaos, in the private garden surrounded by the olive grove and refresh in the swimming pool or enjoy an outdoor lunch or dinner.
This magnificent villa is in fact nestled in a private olive grove and boasts a well equipped private garden with gazebo and tables to have dinner under the stars, barbecue deckchairs and over-ground swimmingpool (6m lenght, 4m width and 1,33m depth) to relax after a long tour day to the many close places of interest.
Il Melograno, that sleeps up to 8 persons, has been recently and tastefully restored to offer our guests the yesteryear warmth of a typical Tuscan residence (wood beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and Arte Povera style furniture) , and a high level of comfort and functionality boasting air condition in each room, WiFi, washing machine, dish washer, microwave.
The villa has 2 separate apartments with shared entrance, which offers several solutions: it’s the ideal solution for families with children that have wide outdoor spaces at their disposal, or for couples of friends which want to spend their holidays together without giving up the privacy of a romantic nest.
Entering the hall of the house you will find the ground floor apartment on the right,
while a staircase leads to the mezzanine, where the laundry with washing machine is, and to the first floor, where you can find the second apartment.
The ground floor apartment opens with a large and very bright living room with a decorative fireplace, long dinner table, a cozy sofa that can easily turn into a double bed, and a kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare your breakfast, lunch or dinner every time you wish.
The living room has wide windows that offer wonderful views on the surrounding hills. From the living room you get to the sleeping area, with a master bed bedroom with wright-iron bed, mosquitos net, air conditioning and a wide patio door,that opens to the garden. The coloured bathroom with shower completes the apartment.
From the main door 15 steps lead to the first floor, where the second apartment is. You get into a living room with pretty fully-equipped wooden kitchenette cabinet, table with 4 chairs and TV area. The sleeping area consists of 2 large tastefully furnished master bedrooms with air conditioning, mosquitos nets and amazing views on the tuscan countryside.
Also here a bath with shower completes the apartment.
