This three-bedroom villa comprises the main house, with a separate studio annex, making it a great choice for those travelling as part of a group or extended family, where some in the group want to retain some independence. Numerous steps from the villa entrance at street level lead up to the studio part of the villa, which is self-contained with its own separate entrance. The studio has an open-plan kitchen, lounge and bedroom with king-size bed, as well as a separate shower room. External steps from outside the studio entrance lead up to the main villa entrance, which comprises two floors. Renata has a fully-equipped kitchen and an open-plan living and dining space, with patio doors leading out to the balcony area where you will find exterior seating and dining table, perfect for enjoying the incredible views. Stairs within the villa lead up to two bedrooms, both with ensuite shower rooms and both with balconies to enjoy the stunning sea views. From the first-floor hallway there is a door with access to a further exterior staircase which leads you up to the pool. The elevated position of the pool affords the most incredible position to drink in the views while relaxing poolside and making use of your barbecue to dine alfresco. Garajau is a small coastal village close to Caniço, east of Funchal. Local attractions include the imposing Cristo Rei statue, which gazes across the Atlantic. Take a bracing walk along the Ponta do Garajau headland, which boasts spectacular views of the Desertas Islands on a clear day. During the summertime, take a trip on the cable car, which descends 200 metres to the pebbled shores of Garajau beach, situated in a pleasant bay. This spot features a small café and a popular scuba diving centre, which offers a range of courses and equipment rental for exploring the exciting underwater world of the protected Garajau Marine Reserve. The beach is quiet and offers wonderful crystal-clear waters for swimming. Renata makes for an excellent choice for your holiday to Madeira.
