VILLA LE PALME is an Art Nouveau style outbuilding belonging to a notable villa on the Sorrento coast, completely immersed in a large garden filled with palm trees and camellia, which has featured in a number of books about the area’s historical gardens. The building sits independently to the villa in which the owners live. They’re lovely people who are available to attend to any requests whilst at the same time respecting your privacy. The house can accommodate up to four people and is 70 square meters in size.

Villa Le Palme is located in Sant’Agnello, a town close to Sorrento. It’s surrounded by sumptious nature and is just 100 metres from the sea. It’s the perfect place for people looking for an enchanting and relaxing holiday whilst at the same time staying close to the various highlights of the peninsula, such as the islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida, the gorgeous Amalfi costa, the historical and cultural centres of Pompei and Herculaneum, and obviously, the wonderful city of Naples.
The villa is just a kilometre away from Sorrento, and just a 10-minute walk from the villa you’ll find the train station. From here you can travel to Sorrento or to the historical and cultural sites of Pompei, Herculaneum, and Naples. From Sorrento it’s also possible to take the SITA bus to the gorgeous Amalfi coast and, once there, a further bus to Ravello.
Just a few steps from the villa you’ll find “Belvedere Marinella”, where you can enjoy a truly breath-taking view. This is one of the two most beautiful panoramic views on the peninsula, and it’s situated just above Sophia Loren’s favourite beach. The closest restaurant is only 100 metres away and about 500 metres away is a shop for general food shopping.

Villa Le Palme is accessible from the main street. You won’t need a car to stay at Villa Le Palme, but if you do arrive by car, you’ll be able to park for free in the villa’s private parking area.


THE SWIMMING POOL is surrounded by nature, the perfect place to both relax and enjoy the sun in complete peace. The pool measures 10 x 10 metres and is available from April 10 to October 09. The pool area is furnished with tables, chairs, sun loungers, and sun umbrellas and from here you’ll have a wonderful view of the garden. The owners may occasionally use the pool.


THE OUTDOOR AREA is furnished with tables and chairs for ‘al fresco’ dining and includes a terrace for sunbathing with shade from the surrounding vegetation.


GROUND FLOOR


THE LIVING ROOM has been furnished with comfortable, high-end furniture, paying close attention to the smallest detail. Here you’ll find a fireplace, a sofa, two armchairs, a television, and a dining table for four people. The room is fitted with air conditioning, heating, and Wi-Fi.

THE KITCHEN contains everything you need. It’s fitted with a four-hob gas stove, an electric oven, a microwave oven, washing machine, fridge-freezer, an electric kettle, a toaster, and a dish washer. Access to the kitchen is from the living room.


FIRST FLOOR (reached by climbing 14 steps)


THE FIRST BEDROOM WITH EN SUITE BATHROOM contains a double bed and is fitted with air conditioning, and heating. The bathroom is fitted with a sink, WC, shower cubicle, bidet, and hairdryer. Access to the bedroom is from the corridor.

THE SECOND BEDROOM contains a double bed and is fitted with air conditioning and heating. Access to the bedroom is from the corridor.

THE SECOND BATHROOM is adjacent to the second bedroom and is fitted with a sink, WC, shower cubicle, bidet, and hairdryer. Access to the bathroom is from the corridor.


Important things to know

- Tourist Tax: 2,00 Euros per person per day for the first 7 nights, from 1st April until 31st October. Children under the age of 18 are exempt from this tax.

- For arrivals after 20:00 an additional cost, to be paid at the arrival, of 50,00 euros will be applied.

- Damage deposit: 250,00 Euros. The Damage deposit will be returned prior to your departure unless there are accidental damages to the property.

- Heating not included. Will be charged on site in cash in base of consumption.

- Air conditioning not included. Will be charged on site in cash in base on consumption.

- Daily cleaning not included and will be charged 130,00 Euros per week of use to be paid on site in cash. The cleaning will be provided 2 hours a day, 2 days per week.

- Final cleaning: 120,00 Euros to be paid on site in cash.

- Parking: 70,00 Euros per week.
