(9 km) and is famous for its sandy and rocky crystal-clear sea. Here you can plan a wonderful night walk along the pedestrian promenade, which has recently been renewed and equipped with large green spaces, or walk into one of the numerous restaurants, cocktail bars, discoes or children's rides. In summer, Soverato hosts events of all kinds, such as antique markets, festivals, food and wine events and concerts with renewed national artists. The seaside resort Copanello is 22 km away, the mountainous plateau of Sila with its Ampollino Lake 73 km, 76 km Le Castella (ancient Aragonese fortress), 50 km form Riace, know since 1972 for the discovery of two bronze statues dating back to the Greek period. The statues are called Riace bronzes or Riace Warriors. Other distances: 118 km Tropea, 65 km Pizzo Calabro, 131 km Reggio Calabria and 43 km Catanzaro.
