On a clear day you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lyme Bay as far as Portland Bill in Dorset, almost 80 miles away by road. Take a fantastic 240ft journey down to Oddicombe Beach on the Babbacombe Cliff Railway, which has been operating since 1926. Shops 100 yards, pubs 150 yards.
