Description

Trullo Cipresso is a large home in the most desirable part of the famous Trullo country of the Valle d'Itria, in the countryside a few minutes outside beautiful Locorotondo and the World Heritage site at Alberobello. The Trullo has recently been sympathetically restored and fully modernised. It is ideal for families, for large groups of friends or simply for those looking for the pleasures of a traditional trullo home but with modern facilities and more space to relax.

The main building has nine large trulli cones and features three double/twin bedrooms and one triple bedroom, a fully appointed kitchen, a dining room, two sitting rooms and two bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a small bath). Two of the bedrooms, both sitting rooms and one of the bathrooms are under trulli cones, as is part of the kitchen, whilst the remainder of the kitchen and the dining room both have barrel vaulted roofs.

Across the ancient stone courtyard is a second building with a double bedroom and en suite shower room.

The courtyard is shaded by fruit trees, making a wonderful place for lunch or dinner at our stone dining table. Beyond the courtyard is a large pool (10m x 6m), fully fenced and with a large sunbathing area which is being extended for 2021 to allow ample space for sunbeds on the west side of the pool as well as the east. The house is set in an acre of land with pomegranate, fig, cherry, mulberry, apricot, apple and olive trees.
