Description

Housed in a beautifully restored 19th- century mansion in the rugged
hills of Portofino, this family villa, located just behind San Giorgio
Church, overlooking the coast a few steps away from the Piazzetta - the
Square of Portofino - offers a wonderful starting point for
explorations of the Italian Riviera. The property can accommodate up to
10 adults and 1 child (2-9 years old) in one extra bed, best used for a
total of 10 guests. It includes a double entrance, five fully and
elegantly furnished bedrooms (three twin-bedrooms and two
king-bedrooms), all with en- suite bathrooms. There are televisions in
three bedrooms. The villa has a charming TV room with 50-inch plasma
television, a spacious living room, a beautiful dining room, and a
fully equipped kitchen. Two extra rooms for staff, one for the in-
house maid and one for a chef is required, are located in the main
building. It features wonderful, wide-open views of the Tyrrhenian Sea
and the night-lights of its famous port. While it offers total privacy
and seclusion, yet its location puts guests a few minutes- walk to the
centre of town. Access to the property is through a 120 steps
staircase, a pathway through an impressive garden. Interiors have been
exquisitely appointed with wood, ardesia (slate), pietra arenaria
(psammite) and volte-a-vela (vaulted ceilings), typical of the Liguria
architecture. Experience timeless glamour and exceptional sights, bike
along the beautiful coast and reach the only vineyard in Portofino
where you can gaze over the glittering Ligurian Sea as you sip a
locally produced wine. Explore beaches, and winding pathways of
Cinqueterre, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
