Description

The apartment is located in the heart of Tuscany between the provinces of Siena and Grosseto where the small village of Monticiano stands on a hill.
The apartment is located in the center of the ancient village of Monticiano, overlooking a characteristic square, surrounded by historic houses dating back to the Middle Ages. Recently renovated, the original features have been maintained: stones and large chestnut beams. It is located on two floors, on the ground floor, in past times, there were the stables of the horses and subsequently the blacksmith's shop of the old grandfather of the Toscani family. On the ground floor there is a large living room with kitchen set in ancient period bricks. There is an accessible stone cave above which a large fully functional wood-burning oven was built. The bathroom was then created in a large room carved into the rock. At the center of the living room there is a decorated wrought iron staircase leading to the upper floor where there is a large double bedroom and a bedroom with two beds separated by a small corridor where the second bathroom opens. Both bedrooms have two windows each.
