Entering through the front door, you arrive in a spacious and open-plan kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is modern and fully-equipped, and from the dining area a door leads to the lounge with its wood-beamed ceilings and cosy ‘snug-like’ feel. Here you’ll find a large leather corner sofa, together with flat screen satellite television and PS4 for playing DVDs or games alike. Additionally on the ground floor you will find the main family bathroom of this villa and then stairs lead you up to three comfortable bedrooms with air-conditioning and king-size beds, as well as an additional shower room. However Rafaela is also second-to-none for outdoor living. The whole front of the villa is occupied by a large covered veranda with built-in barbecue and a large rustic outdoor dining table and seating area, perfect for lounging with a book or a drink in the balmy evenings. The beautiful mature garden accompanies an inviting private pool which can be heated for an additional charge, in its south-facing position. The nearest facilities are in the village of Prazeres, a short drive away. This peaceful resort combines warm climate and easy access to the sea with the tranquillity and beauty of the Madeira countryside. It is a perfect place for walking in Madeira, offering a variety of country walks, and with the famous Levada Nova passing just above the village.
