Iano is situated in the municipality of Montaione, a Medieval village in the province of Florence, full of art, history, culture and traditions. Here guests can find all essential services.
Known for glass processing and food and wine products of high quality (such as The White Truffle), Montaione has a strategic location that allows to reach quickly the main and the most beautiful cities in the Tuscan region like Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa.
There are also some ancient Tuscan villages, little pearls of the surrounding area, easily accessible by car such as:
- San Gimignano is set on a hill and is characterized by its beautiful towers and for Vernaccia (famous Tuscan white wine, the first Italian wine to receive the mark of DOC, Controlled Designation of Origin, in 1966);
- Volterra, a famous Etruscan city with its walls and museum;
- Certaldo Alta, a medieval village where the Italian writer and poet Giovanni Boccaccio lived;
- San Miniato, historic Napoleone Bonaparte's destination during his Italian Campaign, renowned for its white truffles.
For sports lovers, there are several options: an 18-hole golf course in the nearby village of Castelfalfi, a riding school in Iano and a tennis court.

The property (560 sqm) consists of 2 separate apartments with a connecting door.
The entire villa can sleep up to 12 people for a total of 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.
On request, Villa Iano can accomadate up to 14 people thanks to a double sofa bed located in the 1° apartment.
1° apartment: The first apartment, furnished in a modern style, is set on 2 floors and can sleep up to 6 people.
On the ground floor, you are welcomed by a large living area equipped with: pool table, flat tv, DVD player, stereo, fireplace, sofa and armchairs. Following a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and breakfast table. Next to the kitchen is the dining room with a refined glass table for 10 people.
The apartment boasts a fitness room with: bike, weight bench, tapis roulant, hydromassage infloor bathtub (2 x 2 m), bathroom with shower.
Finally, there is a laundry with washing machine, dryer, sink, ironing board, iron and drying rack.
On the first floor you will find the sleeping area divided as follows: 1 bedroom with a round bed and ensuite bathroom with bathtub; 2 double bedrooms (one with ensuite bathroom with shower), a bathroom with shower.
All bedrooms are equipped with flat tv.
Following a studio with double sofa bed (that can be used on request), tv and desk, and a loft with armchair and bookcase.
2° apartment: The second apartment, furnished in country style, is spread over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 6 people.
The ground floor consists of a large living room, equipped with tv, DVD player, fireplace, sofa and armchairs.
Then there is a fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, breakfast table with chairs and access to the porch.
A dining room and a guest bathroom make the rest of the floor.
Upstairs you will find 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower, 1 twin bedroom (with two single beds), 1 bathroom with Jacuzzi.
Included free Wi-Fi. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. All windows have mosquito screens. No pets allowed.

Equipped with several amenities (swimmin pool, satellite TV, fitness room, pool table, air conditioning), it is the ideal accomodation for families or friends wishing to spend a relaxing holiday, immersed in the beauty of the Tuscan countryside.
