Description

This simple and comfortable holiday cottage with a pool is located in the Nature Park of "Sierras Subbéticas", and is surrounded by olive groves. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful Inland of Andalusia with picturesque villages, historic cities and contrasting landscapes. This private plot stands undisturbed in the midst of nature and offers beautiful views of the hills and olive groves. It has a fabulous pool with a Jacuzzi, a sun terrace with sun beds and a barbecue area next to it. In front of the house there is another terrace with garden furniture, where you can enjoy relaxed outdoor dining with your loved ones. The interior is modern and functional. The house is powered by solar energy which is supplied by its own solar panels. It has a large, comfortable dining and living area with a fireplace, an open, well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with two single beds and a bathroom with a shower. The house is heated by a heater which works with pellets. The first bag of pellets is for free, the following have an extra cost. This property is totally fenced located not far from the villages of Rute and Lucena where you will find all sorts of services, shops and restaurants. Rute is widely known for its carnival and its Christmas biscuits, while Lucena is famous for its furniture production and olive products. Lucena is also known as the "Pearl of Sefarad" because of its Sephardic Jewish past. The lake of Iznájar, where you can enjoy various water sports is only 8 km away from the house. The town of Antequera with the dolmens, the Moorish castle and many Catholic convents and churches is located 59 km away. The town of Cordoba, where the momentous and beautiful Mezquita is located, is about 78 km away, while Granada with the unique and world famous Alhambra is 115 km away. The day trips to these three cities are definitely worthwhile and will offer you unforgettable insights into the Andalusian history and culture. Hikers and nature lovers can visit the Nature Park of "Sierras Subbéticas", which was declared as a UNESCO Geopark in 2006.
