The living room has four comfy sofas to sink into after a day of exploring the Cotswolds, Forest of Dean and beyond. On those chilly nights, gather around the fire, pour a glass of something nice and settle in for a games night. Upstairs are four modern bedrooms, all with uninterrupted views of the river. Two of the bedrooms have a private outdoor mezzanine, each with seating areas to soak up the fresh countryside air and exquisite views. Both terraces offer a great outdoor space; why not take breakfast al fresco or dinner under the stars. When it’s time to relax and soak in some essential oils, you won’t be disappointed, with one of two bathrooms to choose from, one of which has a luxurious roll-top bath.
If you and your family are looking for country pursuits and adventure, Pershbrook Cottage is a great base to enjoy forest adventures, Cotswold villages and regency spa towns. Just a short drive along the road is the Forest of Dean, with GoApe for the adrenalin junkies, and first class walking and cycling routes for the active. Whilst in Gloucestershire, be sure to visit some of the chocolate box, honey hued villages that surround you. Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford and Chipping Campden are all within a lovely countryside drive. If cocktails, shopping, fine dining and wonderful architecture is on your agenda, Cheltenham can be reached within a 20-minute drive. Shop 1¼ miles, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
