Originally built in 1624, this magnificent villa was the residence of the Count Cosimo Bernardini, a family who played a key role in the administration of the Republic of Lucca for centuries.

Immersed in a vast parkland with a private garden and a private pool. Our guests will benefit from two outstanding alfresco dining areas: one in front of the Villa, its majestic facade and lovely private pond; another in the backyard overlooking the surrounding area. The jasmine gazebo with a table and some chairs, is the perfect to enjoy a refreshing aperitif.

The three floors Villa has a beautiful cellar with stone walls.
Ground floor: two entrances, luxury living room with TV, pay TV and DVD player; a fully-equipped Tuscan kitchen; a small dining room for everyday use and a bigger one for social events; one restroom; a studio with a library.

First floor: The 'Piano nobile' of the Villa with beautiful views of the Italian garden, the backyard of the Villa and the surrounding olive groves. A small kitchenette for the staff, perfect to prepare appetizers or refreshing drinks. A grand piano and a beautiful glimpse of the pond; a majestic bathtub with a Jacuzzi. This floor offers three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and showers. Share a spacious walk-in closet.
Second floor: A lovely and bright attic with a wooden beamed ceiling. This floor has a tv and a bathroom. One bedroom with twin beds, one king size bed and one double bed.
The cellar features a typical Tuscan fully equipped kitchen with a mixer. On request, at extra charge it is possible to book cooking lessons. While playing board games and billiards. A truly Italian evening atmosphere with Pizza and billiards! At the floor there is also a laundry room, a dryer, an iron and ironing board.

This villa fits the needs of a large family or a group of friends but can also be rented for wedding ceremonies and other social events. Equipped with all modern comforts, our guests will benefit from: air conditioning, heating, wifi, DVD player, fitness room. A laundry room with washer and dryer. A furnished kitchen with 2 big fridges, toaster, mixer, wood-fired oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee-maker.

2) Daily Chef service for breakfast and one meal (lunch or dinner) 6 days a week (Wednesday day off). Cost of groceries not included. Customers will be charged 12 euros for breakfast per person and 40 euros for meat meal or 45 euros for fish meal for person to cover the cost of food and beverages.

- Check in time is 16/19 by appointment. There is no reception at the reception.

-The Villa can accomodate up to 14 people. Infants (0-2 years) can sleep in the baby cot (122 euros per week). Childrens older than 2 years old are considered to be adults in terms of number of occupants.

LOCATION
The Villa is located in the famous area of ​​Coselli: a small village at the foot of the Mount Pisano, which separates Lucca from Pisa. A place rich in history and beautiful nature: small streams, breath-taking landscapes and amazing panoramas. This particular area of ​​Lucca offers many kind of outdoor activities: hiking (Pizzorne and Mount Pisano), tours of the historical Villas (Villa Bernardini, Villa Buonvisi etc.), fitness trails (Marlia), nature reserves (Gherardesca lake, WWF Bottaccio oasis), termal baths (San Giuliano Terme). Horseback riding lovers will be a 10 minute drive away in a beautiful horse farm. For tennis / golf players, an exclusive Tennis / Golf Club is just a 5 minute drive away.
