Description

This beautiful accommodation 4 km from Belluno is located inside a Venetian Villa of 1421, which is today a splendid country villa. The owners live in the central part of the house, while the guests can inhabit a wing of the building and have a large section of the garden, with an adjoining baroque church. The garden, surrounded by the enchanting mountain setting, is the ideal place to relax, sunbathe or have lunch at the large table under the veranda. The interior is characterized by decorated walls, period furniture and a large fireplace in the living room that provide a special atmosphere. A table tennis is available in the large foyer. The location of the villa allows you to easily reach Treviso (76 km), Venice (100 km), Vicenza (110 km) ... but not less beautiful are the smaller centres or villages, where the artwork blends with a unique landscape. Starting from Belluno, the only Italian capital whose territory is part of a UNESCO heritage park (the Belluno Dolomites), with its ancient historical centre (with evidence from different eras: the Middle Ages of the palaces of Piazza del Mercato, the Venetian Renaissance of Palazzo dei Rettori, the gothic style of the church of Santo Stefano ..), to Feltre (26 km), a walled city climbing up the hill dominated by a castle, to Mel with the uniqueness of its historic centre (15 km), Bassano del Grappa with the famous Ponte degli Alpini (70 km). In the area around Belluno there are over a hundred Venetian Villas that can be visited by following itineraries on foot, by bicycle or by other means. The Belluno Dolomites Park is an ideal destination for sportsmen, hikers or families who wish to walk through woods. The park, which is crossed by the High Routes n. 1 and n. 2 of the Dolomites, offers a network of over 200 km of CAI trails. There is also a good offer for cyclists and cycle tourists with many cycle paths (Monaco-Jesolo and Val Belluna cycling paths connecting Feltre - Belluno and the Santa Croce Lake) and roads leading to the surrounding mountains. The nearby Mount Nevegal is rich in mountain bike trails. Water sports such as sailing, wind surfing and kitesurfing can be practiced at lake Santa Croce (20 km). In the area you can also practice traditional sports such as horse riding, from the Serva and Dolada mountains you can practice hang gliding and paragliding. To complete the holiday there is a rich food and wine offer: next to the numerous refuges, trattorias and restaurants offering local specialties, from spring to autumn, in the surrounding villages there is a succession of festivals dedicated to local products .
