Description

The natural stone villa "Son Guillotet" was constructed on a very beautiful 120,000 square metre estate. It is distinguished for its standalone location amid an untouched natural environment, with a luxuriant area of vegetation directly next to the house. Part of it hosts a garden and offers abundant sunbathing areas as well as trees providing shade. Mediterranean plants mostly grow here, such as olive trees or a few impressive palm trees. The peaceful atmosphere around the house is characterised by natural sounds and is the ideal setting for a private relaxation and recovery. A large, 66 square metre infinity pool is integrated at the centre of the large gardened landscape, ensuring that you stay delightfully fresh on hot days. It has a comfortable access and is surrounded by a wrap-around terrace with a great number of convenient loungers.
In case the sunshine is too harsh, one can naturally use a sunshade. In addition, a convenient sitting area under a lightweight bamboo roof invites to linger in relaxation. From here, one has the best view over the pool and the lawns so one can, if necessary, keep a good eye out for the children who are playing and swimming. You can wonderfully can sit down here and enjoy the idyll at any time of the day or night. The path leads from the pool terrace, just a few metres away, to the villa. A romantic roofed terrace, overgrow with grape vine, awaits the guest here. One can, as one wishes, make way to the beautiful dining table or take a seat at one of the mural-like seating arrangements. Other styled corners and niches around the villa invite to always find new favourite spots and intensely experience this beautiful spot on earth. For sport enthusiasts, a table tennis table is available under the airy shade. You may wish to also use the barbecue and enjoy fresh Mediterranean delicacies cooking a culinary barbecue one night.

The appealing atmosphere continues into the interior of the villa. There is a combined living/dining/kitchen area, decorated with harmoniously coordinated materials and colour combinations which will instantly feel cosy and atmospheric. The application of the solid-wood ceilings, windows and furniture, as well as bright and cheerful colours, is a clever choice here. The open fireplace in the corner of the living room and the small oven in the dining area conjure added cosiness. The round dining table, from which one can get a wonderful view over the terrace and the garden beyond it, seats six people. The integrated, partitioned kitchen is separated by a counter top, and is fully equipped, providing guests with a refrigerator, baking oven, ceramic hobs and washing machine, in addition to a kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. The bedrooms are lit-up and contain bright colours, cosy ceiling beams and sparingly dosed colour tones, while keeping out intrusive accessories. Comfortable 1.60 x 2.00 m beds, meant for a relaxing sleep, are available. The three bathrooms are spacious and with a contemporary style, with lovely wall and floor tiles and aesthetically pleasing fittings. You can leave your hair dryer and iron comfortably at home.

The nearby town of Petra, with its unique golden brown quarrystone houses, reminds one of a sleepy little town, far from the hustle and bustle. The weekly market, the small bars, cafés and restaurants in this manageable, yet well-developed city, should not be missed. The beautiful, natural sand beach of Son Serra de Marina is easy to reach from the villa.
