On the south Somerset and Devon border, yet within easy driving distance of the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast, these two detached holiday homes have wonderful views over the countryside, and are in a great location for exploring this popular area. Stepen Cottage (ref UKC3835) is a two-storey cottage built in mellow hamstone, and Stepen View (ref UKC3835) is a small chalet sleeping two, but both are ideal for taking in the area and can be booked independently or together.
There are many wonderful attractions to visit within easy driving distance, and you may like to spend family time at Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum with its Concorde and Aircraft Carrier Experience, or admire a fascinating array of classic cars that await at the Haynes Motor Museum. Historical places of interest include Forde Abbey and Gardens, Montacute House and Tintinhull House. For keen shoppers, there is Clarks Village, the factory retail outlet at Street.
To the south is the beautiful Jurassic Coast to take in, calling in at the ‘Jewel of the Crown’ of Dorset, Lyme Regis, with its great harbour, The Cobb, and beach. Visit Seaton, with its wonderful tram railway, the donkey sanctuary at Sidmouth and wander around the beautiful area of Beer and Branscombe. Slightly further on, children can enjoy a day at Crealey Adventure Park, or maybe a day visiting Exeter with with its shops, cathedral and catacombs would make a good day out for all the family. Beach 12 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
