Here, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of rural Tuscany from the furnished terrace, which provides wonderful views across the Valdarno, the valley of the river Arno, and the encircling hills. Where to eat? Choose from either this delightful terrace or beneath the pergola by the private pool. The pool is a delightful spot of its own with superb views across the countryside; this charming quarter could become a real focus of your holiday.

Our Thoughts

Val di Prulli is the ideal choice if you are a couple seeking a cosy villa and a convenient base from which to explore the countryside (Florence and Siena are within easy driving distance). The delightful age-old exterior belies the smart decorative touches inside. The terrace is a special spot where you can bookend the day with breakfast and dinner, perhaps whiling away the time in between around the grounds, either in the private pool or playing bocce (Italian bowls).

Notes

One bedroom, one bathroom, en-suite. Val di Prulli is a private ground floor apartment in a two-storey building. There are more houses within the property – the owner lives in the main house, however the guests can enjoy their privacy. They have their own separate entrance and do not use the pool. A small airfield is close by from where there is some aircraft noise at weekends. There is also a road close by, but it cannot be seen from the property. The washing machine is located in the porch.

Air conditioning is available in the bedroom.

No infants under 2 years.



Pool

The pool is a short walk from the apartment, past the main house and down a short flight of stone steps. The pool is fenced and entered by internal corner steps. Pool size: 10mx5m, 1.2m-1.5m deep. Open mid-May to September, weather permitting.
