Just outside the entrance to Palheiro Village is a bus stop with regular services.



There are many beaches around the island. The closest to the village is at Garajau, approximately 5 minutes by car. It is a pebble beach (as are the majority of beaches in Madeira) and is reached by a cable car. There is a restaurant on the beach serving lunch and dinner.



A security deposit of 200€ or £200 is required. This is returned should there be no breakages or damage to the property.
