Description

Old Town Bolthole is the perfect romantic retreat in Hastings Old Town, East Sussex.
Dating back to the 1400's it has bags of character, with exposed beams, quirky staircase and woodburner, it truly is a bolthole for that weekend getaway.
A central location makes it a great base for exploring Hastings with everything on your doorstep. An easy stroll to the sea and Hastings Country Park. Planning to eat out you will be spoilt for choice, great cafes and pubs only minutes away.
You will find the cottage along a private twitten. Climb the stairs to the front door and you enter into the small but perfectly formed kitchen. You have a two ring electric hob, a combination microwave/oven, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster and kettle.
The lounge has a wood-burner for those cosy Autumn & Winter evenings, two comfy armchairs and a dining table and chairs in front of the window for meal times. From the kitchen, stairs lead up to the modern shower room and the double bedroom.
The cottage is charming and finished to a high standard with good quality bed linen, fine towels and a small welcome pack consisting of milk, tea, coffee, packet of biscuits from the local deli ' Penbuckles' and a bottle of fruit juice.
Due to its age it might not be suitable for those who are less mobile.
When staying at Old Town Bolthole it is not necessary to have a car, as everything is within easy walking of the cottage including the railway station.
