CASA ROSA is a typical charming Amalfi house with vaulted ceilings and whitewashed walls. Offers a large terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast. It is situated between Amalfi and Pogerola on the slopes of the hill overlooking the ancient Maritime Republic, offering a breathtaking view, absolute privacy and the possibility of enjoying the nature trails that connect the villages of the Coast. CASA ROSA, is the result of the renovation of an ancient rural house. It is welcoming and bright and offers ample views of the sea and nature from the windows of the living area which has access to the large terraced garden furnished with a dining table, deck chairs and umbrella. This beautiful space allow guests to relax in the cooler hours of the day or to set up romantic moonlight dining. The house can be reached walking down 120 steps from the road. It has an area of 85 sqm and is composed of: large living room with dining area, typical masonry kitchen covered with Vietri majolica tiles, a bathroom with tub-shower and another small bathroom with shower, the rooms have two double beds.
INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: water, gas, electricity, heating, A / C, towels and bed linen.
TO BE PAID UPON ARRIVAL: Tourist tax 1.5 EURO / day / person, final cleaning 35 euros.
NOT INCLUDED: secure parking available for a daily fee, to be booked before arrival.
GUEST ACCESS: Arriving by car to a small square, you reach reach the accommodation by walking down 120 steps, not so many in Amalfi coast. Going up 130 stairs you find the delightful little square of Pogerola where there are restaurants, bars, the post office and various shops. Following walking down the stairs leading to the house, you reach the center of Amalfi and its beaches in 20 minutes, along a scenic route that crosses small villages surrounded by lemon groves. It is possible to reach Amalfi also by bus, one bus stop is on the main road near the main square of Pogerola and a second ne along Via Papa Leone X. The Duoglio beach can be reached in 10 minutes, while the beaches of Conca dei Marini in 15 minutes. Guests will have exclusive use of the house and of all the surrounding space.
SURROUNDINGS: Pogerola is a hamlet of Amalfi, located in the upper part of the Municipality that overlooks the sea from the hill with a high landscape content. It represents the most peaceful and quiet part of Amalfi, far from the chaos of the city and the noise of the street.
MOVING AROUND: we suggest you to hire a car at the airport to move around faster and easily or, for the most trained visitors, to rent a bike. The BUS to Amalfi runs about every 15-30 minutes. From Amalfi you catch buses for all directions and FERRIES to Positano, Capri, Sorrento or the MINI CRUISE to the Emerald Grotto.
- To reach the bus stop from the house, you must climb up the stairs to the main square or you must reach Via Papa Leone X, walking the Via Valle di Pogerola.
- To go to Positano or Sorrento: take the bus from Pogerola and get off at 'G. A.S. Bar ’then wait for the bus from Amalfi to Positano-Sorrento.
Pogerola is located on eastern offshoots of the Scorca and Molignano Mountains, from which there are paths and staircases that allow visitors to take walks immersed in nature and to enjoy the suggestive spectacle of the Amalfi Coast from the heights, truly amazing! In Pogerola it is possible to visit some monuments such as the parish of S. Marina, the Sanctuary of S. Maria dei Fuonti and the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie. It is a suggestive place, much loved by tourists who want to relax while maintaining contact with nature and at the same time remaining close to the main tourist centers of the Coast. In Pogerola you will also find delicious typical restaurants, where you can enjoy an excellent pizza and the delicious dishes of the typical local cuisine based on fish.
