This terraced cottage rests on the outskirts of Coniston in the Lake District and can sleep five people in three bedrooms.

Acorn Cottage is one of a row of eight terraced cottages, formerly owned by the author Beatrix Potter, on the outskirts of Conistion in the Lake district. The property has three bedrooms; two doubles and a single, sleeping five guests. The property also has a family bathroom, a shower room, a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside is ample off-road parking and an enclosed garden with lawn, patio and furniture. Acorn Cottage offers a tranquil base for a Lake District holiday.

Nearby attractions include the award-winning village of Hawkshead, home of the Beatrix Potter Gallery, Brantwood, the former home of John Ruskin, Tarn Hows, one of the most visited beauty spots in the country and Esthwaite Water, famous for its fishing.
