Kontis Village is located in the village of Maza. It is a quiet and privately owned property in which there are four individual stone villas.
Each of these villas has a pool, garden and parking. They are made of wood and stone, giving a feeling of
authentic Cretan residence while providing comfort and luxury for the guests!
Kontis Village also has a farm. Within this, there are two horses, a pony, two deer, a sheep, a dog and three cats.
Visitors can tour the farm get to know the animals from up close and to enjoy
a unique experience strolling with some of the horses – an activity which is provided for free.
It is an ideal place for those who have children because within it they can play carefree and safely.
Apart from the farm, Kontis Village offers a vine yard and two vegetable gardens,
where the guest can drink wine, raki and try the fresh vegetables of the garden – again at no charge.
Kontis Village is a small paradise, with the villas offering peace and relaxation, as they combine mountain and sea.

This rural stone farmhouse rests in the tranquil foothills of the White
Mountains in Maza, Chania. Lovingly renovated in traditional Cretan
style, it’s an inviting mix of stone craftsmanship and natural wooden
beams. Gorgeous Greek fabrics and artefacts add to its authenticity
with stone archways.
Staying at Villa Kontis is great for those seeking solace away from it
all. This delightful three-bedroom villa is fringed with bright pink
bougainvillea and fir trees. A perfectly manicured lawn hosts a
spacious lap pool. Dine under the shade in the garden canopy. On the
upper level there is also a private breakfast set up on the patio.
Enter the villa through warm, wooden doors. Natural beams adorn the
ceiling and stone craftsmanship is visible throughout, making Villa
Kontis feel like your own private, country home. Carved beds with
brightly coloured throws offer a peaceful way to end the day.
It’s only a few minutes’ walk up to the quaint village square in Maza
with sleepy lanes and local tavernas. Receive a warm welcome and some
traditional Raki if you’re lucky. As Greece’s largest island, Crete is
a mixed bags of delights for everyone to enjoy so we’d advise you to go
