Well-maintained modern beautiful self-catering holiday rental detached individual private villa, standing on a large plot of 875 sq. m. for the exclusive use of our guests, on one level with 3 double beds, 2 showers (1 en-suite). Built to a high standard in 2003, set in a quiet and peaceful residential non-estate area. It is now approached by a tarmacked road which replaced the old unmade track. It has an elevated secluded south facing position which attracts the sun all day long. Providing both privacy & tranquility whilst being within easy distance of Calpe's beaches & all amenities. Convenient for golf & trips to water & theme parks.

The lounge & dining areas (with a ceiling fan and a fire alarm) are spacious, airy, light, comfortable and tastefully furnished. There is a flat screen satellite TV with UK Freeview channels in HD and a Blu-Ray DVD player with several films, some for children and CDs. There is a well-stocked library of books, board and other indoor games, with playing cards.

There is one bedroom (en-suite) with a double bed and two bedrooms each with two single beds, all with ceiling fans, large fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, security and mosquito blinds & a separate shower room.

A large covered terrace has a table & chairs, overlooks the pool & is ideal for eating al fresco, enjoying the views or relaxing under. Fully equipped & spacious modern American kitchen, with cafetiere, hand blender, electric ceramic hob and oven (with grill) and plenty of pots, dishes, pans, glasses, cutlery and crockery.

Generally, very well equipped, light/bright and airy & sympathetically furnished with care and attention. Private gated maintained gardens & a professionally maintained private kidney-shaped pool, approximately 5m x 8m and up to 2.2m deep, with Roman steps, under-water lights, surrounded by a patio with 6 quality sun loungers & a shower; a BBQ area is adjacent & has a stone table and benches with a stone BBQ.

The large gated garden has balustrades on one side and walls on the other sides, so is very safe for children to play in. Beach and pool toys are provided for children. We also provide a child's potty and toilet seat.

The World Health Organisation has declared that the Calpe, Moraira, Javea and Denia peninsula of the Costa Blanca has 'one of the most environmentally perfect climates in the world.'

There are many bars and restaurants in Calpe and some within walking distance, offering varied top quality local and international cuisine that cater for every taste (Greek, Dutch, English, German, Belgian, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French etc). Calpe old town has narrow streets, steps and is very picturesque with its museums, colourful paintings on the walls, traditional tapas bars and quaint park areas. There are well preserved Roman & Moorish remains which are evidence of Calpe’s rich history. The Salt Lake on the edge of Calpe is home to flamingos and numerous other aquatic birds. In Calpe you can enjoy all the hustle and bustle and a variety of activities that it has to offer, whilst retaining the feel of a small Spanish town.

Villa Catalina is only 20 mins drive from Moraira & only a further 10 mins drive to the beautiful Jalon Valley with its terraced citrus/almond groves and wonderful scenery, Oliva, Denia & Javea. Benidorm is 30 mins drive away with shopping, discos, nightclubs, shows, bars, Aqualanda Water Park, Mundomar (a marine and exotic animal park) & ‘Terra Mitica’ theme park. Nearby are caves, go-kating, safari parks & several golf courses. In this region as you drive around the winding roads there is spectacular mountain scenery & many charming traditional towns & villages, such as Benissa, Gata & the magnificent fortress town of Guadalest built on a precipice. The local green countryside is dotted with beautiful individual white-washed villas. Shady pine woods, citrus groves & vine terracing make a pretty & relaxing setting for those wanting to unwind on a peaceful holiday away from the package tour crowds. This is a fantastic area with no shortage of things to do, or places to visit & catering for all tastes.

We are sorry but we do not accept any animals on any part of the villa premises.

We also do not accept single gender occupancy by adults and groups, or by mixed groups under the age of 30, as this is a family home, unless agreed beforehand.

The villa is only let for a maximum of 6 persons plus up to two babies in cots

This is a non-smoking villa and no smoking is allowed inside the villa. There are ashtrays for smoking outside.

If a tenant breaks any of the above conditions they will lose their security deposit.

Neither the pool, or the villa will be shared with any others, it is for the exclusive use of our guests. No one else will be at the villa or sharing the pool.

Our rent includes all the cleaning, water and electricity (although there is a separate charge for heating during the colder months).
