A traditional cottage in a delightful, peaceful and rural location overlooking a small lochan, it boasts stunning views over the garden and out to the surrounding fields. The cottage would suit both couples or a family looking to explore the delights that Dumfries & Galloway has to offer.
The property is close to the towns of Kirkcudbright and Castle Douglas, and is also within easy reach of safe beaches and coastal walks.
Castle Douglas & Kirkcudbright provide an excellent range of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs for you to frequent during your holiday. The Solway Coast with its sandy beaches and rocky coves is within a half hour's drive or Loch Ken, with water sports and excellent coarse fishing, is very close. The nearby Galloway Forest Park provides visitors with stunning scenery, walking, mountain biking, star gazing and wildlife spotting opportunities.
Another beautiful attraction only a short drive away is Threave Gardens. It is a garden for all seasons, a landscaped beauty and a haven for wildlife.
