Description

- Access with NO STEPS from the road - very rare in Positano.

Casa Marina is located in one of the most panoramic and suggestive corners of Positano.
It is a historic house of great charm and value, independent, located on the noble floor of a luxurious period villa (late 18th century) in the upper part of Positano (district) Chiesa Nuova, in a very quiet area away from the noise, although central, with spectacular views of the sea and mountains.

2 double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms (one with a shower one with a tube)

The house is suitable for comfortably accommodating 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartment is full of period features including, in addition to the external stuccos, the splendid frescoed vaults in the two representative rooms stand out.

Split on two levels, on the first floor a beautiful living room with frescoed vault giving access to the terrace with its enchanting sea views, a fully equipped kitchen and a first double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with bath tube.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook your favourite Italian dish right in the middle of the picturesque city of Positano. Guests can then enjoy a relaxing evening watching the sunset on the terrace overlooking the Gulf of Salerno.

On the second level the other two bedrooms: a double one and a twin one sharing another bathroom with shower.

In Casa Marina, it is sometimes difficult to decide where to spend your time. Outside, looking at the vast views of the Amalfi coast, or inside, surrounded by beautiful interior decoration and craftsmanship.

It was in this house, the greatest Neapolitan playwright, Eduardo De Filippo, who wrote his play "Il figlio di Pulcinella" in Positano in 1958. Living in a home that spurred such creativity is a humbling and beautiful experience.

This home will make you feel like a local. Being able to walk through the tiny streets overlooking the Mediterranean, walking past local shops and picking up groceries for dinner, or stopping at a local bar to take a break and take in everything that surrounds you. It is a way of life that can be so refreshing from the stresses of everyday life.

A great plus: no steps to walk from the road, and only 20 meters from the bus stop. You can take a bus to Piazza dei Mulini, then just a 6-minute walk to reach the beach. Other buses are available to reach Sorrento and the rest of the Amalfi Coast.
