Description

Waterside Cottage is a beautifully converted, 300 year old cottage which mixes character features with contemporary styling for a perfect home from home. The cottage sleeps four guests in two bedrooms while the village of Nancledra is a great location from which to explore West Cornwall as well as both the South and North Coasts with their beautiful beaches and coves. The property is set on a farm in a wooded valley only three miles from the popular fishing harbour of St Ives and its neighbour Carbis Bay.

On the ground floor can be found the open plan living/dining space which comfortably seats four and the well-stocked kitchen. Up the stairs can be found the master bedroom with its cast iron bed frame and quaint sloping ceiling with exposed beams. There is also the twin bedroom with two single beds and more exposed beams in the sloping ceiling.

All heat/power is included as well as the bed linen, towels and free Wi-Fi. The owners also kindly leave a welcome pack for guests with locally-sourced goodies. There is a large lawned garden with seating, barbecue area and summerhouse which is shared with the other farm cottages. There is private, off-road parking for two cars and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

Located on the edge of the village, Farm Cottage is within easy reach of St Ives, with its huge selection of independent shops, art galleries and restaurants, and the stunning north coast. Marazion is just 6 miles away on the south coast and is home to the iconic St Michael’s Mount and its two wonderful beaches. The historic port of Penzance, the fishing harbour of Newlyn and the pretty fishing village of Mousehole are just a few of the amazing towns and villages which are well worth visiting. The local shop is within 1 mile, the pub is only a few minutes walk away and there are numerous restaurants all within a short radius.
