Description

Cumbres Borrascosas is a magnificent rural house, former mining and railway tavern, built in wood and stone in the mid-19th century in Brañuelas, on the summit of Puerto del Manzanal, border between the Leon regions of Bierzo, Cepeda and Maragatería.

The house has a great living room of 70 square meters, with a fireplace, where the old marble bar of the railway tavern that was installed in its day has been preserved. We are near the station but far from the tracks, on the other side of a wide square. A bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bedroom complete the ground floor. The second floor consists of six bedrooms, four doubles and two singles, and two more bathrooms, equipped with half bathtub.

The house has a perfectly equipped boardroom for 20 people, which is rented separately, but only to the group that has also rented the house.

The house also has a closed inner courtyard of about 80 square meters for the exclusive use of our guests. Because of its height, the low light pollution and the cleanliness of the sky, it is ideal for astronomy enthusiasts.

With us you will not lack space: 500 useful square meters.

Living room table of 4.50 meters, so they can eat all together.
Great parking in front of the house.
Literary activities on certain dates.
