Description

An Acail sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two shower rooms and one bathroom with spa bath. The cottage sleeps six, however, out of season, we offer discounted prices for two guests (sharing master bedroom). Please send enquiry for a price quote.

An Acail, originally an agricultural barn, and converted to a self catering holiday cottage owned and run by Iain and Jeanne. Iain and Jeanne did most of the work themselves and the cottage is finished to a high standard.

The cottage is on the outskirts of Stornoway town centre and is perfectly located for exploring the Islands of Lewis and Harris. The Islands boast beautiful beaches, many historical sites, and there are numerous walks. Ranging from simple strolls to more adventurous rambles and hill climbs.

The accommodation is on two levels. The lower level has the master bedroom with a luxurious super-king size bed to give you a perfect nights sleep. The spacious, en-suite, bathroom has a water fall power shower with jets, a spa bath and built in radio. Just the thing for relaxing after a day exploring the islands, fishing or walking in the hills.

We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible and have included a recliner sofa in the large open plan living area. This area has a large bay window and french doors to access a patio area with picnic table. There is also an outbuilding, which houses the laundry facilities and has room for storing bikes or drying wet suits.

There are two twin bedrooms up the stairs and these have en-suite shower rooms. One of these rooms can be made up to a super-king size.

An Acail is a warm cozy house with oil central heating which can be fully controlled by you. All electricity and heating is included in the price of your stay. We provide all bed linen and towels and a small welcome pack to help you settle in on your first night.
