Nestled amidst the enchanting Umbrian hills and very close to Gubbio, in a dominant position in front of the picturesque medieval town with Palazzo dei Consoli, at the center of the homonymous eco-sustainable organic farming estate that produces organic cereals (spelled, ancient grains, millet) from which we produce flour traditional stone and pasta maciata and typical organic beans (chickpeas and cicerchia). Montereano is the ideal place to live in close contact with nature and to refresh yourself from daily struggles. It was the ancient residence of illustrious geologist Guido Bonarelli, and is now run by the family. It has 4 units (2 two-rooms, Cedar and Nespolo, 2 studios, Ginepro and Oak) and 2 rooms with bath (Lavender and Ginestra), a terrace, common room, large Italian garden with secular plants and outdoor swimming pool 6 x 11 m. Innovative solutions for energy plants (geothermal and photovoltaic) have been adopted in the recent renovation. Produces and packs in the laboratory not only organic but useful health foods (cereals and antique legumes, egg oil and organic flaxseed oil, honey, vegetables and fruit).
