Description

The villa "La Serendipia" offers everything you need for a picture-postcard holiday. Sit back and enjoy the heavenly surroundings in this rural location. The plot is directly adjacent to a nature reserve and four nearby golf courses. The house itself is surrounded by an oasis of green: oleander, young trees, bougainvillea, cacti, almond trees and a hundred-year-old olive tree create a charming ensemble that entices you to come and discover the slightly raised terrace behind the house. A pretty saltwater pool nestles in a surrounding sun terrace with solid wood sun loungers and a bench. The terracotta tiled floor of the terrace reflects the warm-hearted character of this villa, which offers you a very special little gem: for any sun- or star-worshippers, there is a sheltered lounger area on the terrace. The rustic stone walls also contribute to the traditional character of this property, where you can pamper yourself from head to toe. And when it comes to pampering yourself, the built-in BBQ is happy to oblige, where delicacies from the nearby sea can be gently cooked to delicate perfection and eaten at the stylish natural wooden table on the covered veranda. A further terrace, also accessible via one of the bedrooms, is located on one side of the house. As you sit here in the company of a small lemon tree, smiling back at the sun, you will be delighted that the architect was so successful in creating such sheltered havens like this terrace.

The interior only highlights this impression: the living area is unpretentious; natural colours and a cosy fireplace in the centre of the room set the tone here, in addition to a large painting depicting the similarity of the Mallorcan landscape to the loveliest features of Tuscany. The rattan couch and the dining area fit perfectly into the natural style of this finca; its unaffected down-to-earth nature encourages its guests to wind down and enjoy every moment of life to the fullest. The kitchen also stays true to this simple elegance, its warm wood tones offering all the home comforts needed to relieve you of any household cares during your stay. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a separate utility room. The three bedrooms, of which two have an en-suite bathroom, are lent a maritime air by small decorative details such as a ship's figurehead or a large clam shell, which in no way detract from the villa's clean lines. The wooden furniture constantly suggests the interior of an elegant ship, making you feel as if you are close to the ocean all day.
