This attractive cottage is built in a traditional style from Lakeland stone and is situated 100 yards from both Keswick town centre and the Cumbrian Cottages regional office. The interior is furnished in a modern style with quality furnishings, has Wi-Fi and a kitchen with all the desired appliances and is enhanced with traditional features such as a woodburning stove in the lounge and a bedroom with a stripped pine floor. The benefit of four bedrooms (one kingsize, one double, one single and one versatile attic room) for five guests, provides added flexibility of sleeping arrangements and kids will love the attic bedroom with futons, a TV and Playstation 2.

Keswick is the perfect holiday destination for families, couples, the fit and the ‘not so fit’! Situated on the shores of Derwentwater, the fells are accessible from the doorstep and the town centre has excellent amenities. Other outdoor activities available locally include mountain biking in Whinlatter Forest, kayaking and sailing on the lakes, rock climbing and ghyll scrambling to name but a few. The ‘not so fit’ may prefer gentle strolls around the town’s parks and shops, partaking in the café culture on Keswick’s pedestrianised market place or a trip on the launch around Derwentwater. Across the road in Fitz Park is an excellent children’s play park, the Keswick Museum with café, a bowling green and the Keswick Leisure Pool is adjacent. Shop 30 yards, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

There are numerous steps to the garden. This property caters for a maximum of 5 people. If the extra bed is required, please enquire in advance so that beds will be made up. Enclosed garden.
